Great read. We all want to imagine summer as this joyful, healing, resting time. But for so many, it is a time of stress, especially given the weather, in reality or in fiction. And given Maggie's upheavals over the years, summer means more upheaval - more preparing, more moving, more uncertainty as to where she's going and what she will find there, all the more so as she is now in a leadership position where others will look to her to steer the wheel of things.

Just stopping by to say hello; I’ve come here from your post on the community section of the Story University.

Ended up mostly just there for the community on there. Quite wonderful people on there who I enjoyed talking to; it's just a shame that we all only get one month free, which means that a lot of people are likely to leave after the month is over. So we're going to have to start making these connections elsewhere on the internet wherever.

I learned a lot from seeing people ask questions about their struggles with the writing process and other people answering them. I had to think and reflect on what I would do if I were in their shoes, which I think is good preparation for the future. Abbie also had a lot of resource kits in her videos that I manage to snag and save offline. But I unfortunately couldn't make it to any of her livestreams.
